Fix your se.dll error

Due to security concerns, this file is not available for download. We only provide information on how to fix the specific DLL problem.

Fix your se.dll error

This file has been reported to be part of a spyware/malware/trojan. It is likely that the problem you are experiencing is linked directly to the spyware/malware/trojan rather than an actual missing DLL-file and the recommended course of action is to first locate/remove the Malware. We do not recommend downloading this file.

DLL-Files.com Support says:

Part of Spyware/Trojan called "ieplugin".

  • Overview:

IEPlugin is an IE BHO that monitors web site addresses you visit, form contents and even your local file browsing! It also automatically updates and adds a few items to your favorites list. On top of this it will display ads when it finds certain keywords in your browser.

Manual solution for you 'handyman-fixers' out there: (at your own risk)

- Click start -> Run, and type: regedit

- Lookup and delete the following keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Win Server

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Win Server Updt

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Win Server Updt [C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe]

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Win Server Updt

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\conscorr

- Reboot your computer

- Click start -> Run, and type: msconfig.

- Select the startup tab. Any references to the processes below should be deleted

End Processes (may or may not exist):

extract.exe

se.exe

systb.exe

wdskctl.exe

wupdt.exe

winserv.exe

- Make a search for the following files:

ieplugin.dll

se.dll

systb.dll

winobject.dll

- Click start -> Run, and type: cmd

- You will now unregister the files from the previous step

In the command window, type the following: regsvr32 /u c:\[SOURCE TO THE FILE]\[FILENAME].dll

The [SOURCE TO THE FILE], should be replaced by source you found in the search you did in the previous step. And [FILENAME] by the files in the previous step.
