Errors related to arccon.dll can arise for a few different different reasons. For instance, a faulty application, arccon.dll has been deleted or misplaced, corrupted by malicious software present on your PC or a damaged Windows registry.
The most commonly occurring error messages are:
- The program can't start because arccon.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

How the problem occured for one of our users and how he solved it:– I was looking for in the computer and I see the file ArcCon.dll in <Program files / Common files / ArcSoft>
– In Internet I see that program is usually it cams with Kodak CD-ROM (Camera Photo machine). I uninstall Kodak and the message disappear, but after it cams again (ArcSoft do not was uninstaled).
–I was looking for in <Process> of the <Administrative works of the Windows> to see what programs was in the start of the computer and I see ACDaemon.exe. Internet inform to me that was from ArcSoft.
–When I disconnect the program in the start with MSConfig, the problem was off, and when connect ACDaemon. The message was on.
–I looking for ArcSoft in Kodak CD-ROM and I start them in <Repair>. After that, all is OK. (Only was a message, but it disturb me).
–I suspect all this occur when I get dawn an <OpenOffice Portable>. After that the message of ArcCcon.dll appears, and a <MSOffice-2007 Portable> do not work (inclusive from a Pen Drive). ArcCon do not make alarms, but I left to go to repair my <MSOffice-2007 Portable>.
