I had installed CIV2 on my XP Pro work and had no problems. For whatever reason when I tried to install on my XP Home P4 3.33MHZ with 2GB of RAM I got the wing.dll error message. Dont know what it is or what it was but after finding this page I downloaded the .dll and now my CIV 2 works great. CIV 2 forever!!!

**A perfect work around for Vista32**
Copy the MPS(CivII) folder and paste it in Vista32 program files (or another location.) Download and extract Wingldll from this site (http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?wing) and copy Wing.dll into CIV2 (the subfolder under MPS) folder.
I even got the sound.

To the guy who put the wing.dll file on the desktop...
Once you place it in C:\Windows\System32, you should have no problem with Civ finding it. Good luck!
