my laptop is not working for some reason its an Xps when i open it it takes aged to open and when it does i get this msg.... system cannot open blah error MSVCP60.dll re installing would solve the problem but how can i install it from the boot menue ?!

i have windows 98 and i keep getting a popup saying that i just commited an illegle act and the program will be shut down can you please tell me what thats all about and how do i keep it from happening again it makes my whole computer frezz up thank you

site rox! no one could ever get this idea. OBVIOUS, everyone needs dlls sometimes, that makes ur site so good. it gives us stuff we dont get anywhere else.

It was not your computer, it was your archiver program. That message probably means that the file was corrupted during download. You should try downloading it again, or use a different archiver.

hey i backed up my hdd and the reg. so i can make a fresh install of 98 and when i put all the files back in their places i restarted and when the programs try to start ...a message pops up saying :(a reguired .DLL file MSVCP60.DLL, was not found...
i think you have to goto run and type something in to regester the dll file or something can anybody help me with this ?
