Dear DLL-files team,
I downloaded the mfc42u.dll file from your site, because my antivirus shield NOD32 was asking for it. It wrote now that the file is for Win95 or 3.11 and therefore it cannot be opened. Could you check the version of that file?

Looking at the problems mentioned above, it seems that dll-files.com's version of mfc42u.dll is outdated. The time/date stamp on a file might help you determine if its good for your version of Windows or not.

I have tried to restart my laptop from a previous date to remedy some problems, but that has just increased the problems. I have wiped off some files that I had and can't get them back.I am new at computers.It's a inspiron1501.Is there any way you could help?

Dang, this thing's only complicated it... Now not only is the procedure [any] missing from mfc42u.dll, but now my WD Passport external HD thinks my computer's downgraded to Windows 95 or 3.1... D:

Maybe my ArcToolbox under ArcGIS Desktop (ESRI)software couldn't work well without fixing "mcf42u.dll" errors in registry.

This file is required to run \"msconfig.exe\". and i was missing it...so i downloaded it to run \"msconfig.exe\".
