hmmh i tried to replace my kernel32 with this one but, wen i try to unrar it directly in stystem32 it tells me an error (acces denied blablabla)
and when i open it with notepad i just get some kind of weird thing, you know like...not letters but some kind of weird signs..hum...so how can i replace this goddamn thing.

hy people!
here\'s my problem- i\'ve downloaded PC game called DarkStar One(4.45GB,) using utorrent, it was in .iso format and i downloaded it and mounted image using Nero7 and burned it onto DVD.
When my DVD player showed startup screen(install,play etc.) i\'ve clicked instal and the following message showed up: \"The procedure entry point Get?system Time could not be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll\"
-Any ideas?
(p.s. i don\'t know will this help, but this game \"leaked\" on torrents, The Game Darkstar One will be officially released 16-Aug-2006 HELP! peace:-)

my last post was just a suggestion but when windows starts up KERNEL32.DLL auto loads and cant be deleted nor replaced. get a new KERNEL32.DLL and unzip it and place on desktop now start computer in MS DOS and replace new copy with old one yourself because in MS DOS mode KERNEL32.DLL is not being used and can be deleted and replaced, when done press Ctrl+Alt+Delete 2 times. this new KERNEL32.DLL will work like new.

download the file from this site, if you cant rename nor replace the old kernal32.dll, open the old kernal32.dll with notepad and select all then clear it now save. now open new kernal32.dll with notepad and select all and copy and paste it in the other notepad of the old kernal32.dll and save. restart pc

Do not use with WindowsME!
When you boot your computer on it goes straight to the 'Shut Down Screen'.
When I put this in cd:\windows\system through DOS my computer started to loop. (Power on, Shut Down Screen, Power on, etc)
-Remeber, when replacing files try to rename your one first. ie 'kernel32.dll' to 'kernel32.old'. You never know what your replacing-

here is your answer
This error has been caused at times by a conflict with the PDM.DLL file which is installed by Development tools.
To fix this error you can try renaming this file.
1. Click START
2. Select FIND
3. Select Files or Folders
4. Enter PDM.DLL in the Search Box and click FIND NOW
5. when the file is found, right click on the file name and select RENAME from the pop-up
6. type in the new name PDM.OLD
7. close all windows and reboot
